Today is day 19 of not smoking.

I am surprised actually. I was sure the urges would have been stronger. I guess the gum really helps. However, you have to be careful with the gum.
When I chew a piece of gum you are accustomed to continue to chew. Not with this. You are supposed to chew until there’s a tingling sensation. Then you park it between your teeth and gum. When the tingle goes away you chew a little more until it’s completely gone.
I do admit I have actually wanted to go to the smoke shop and get a pack of clove cigars. They’re sweet and enjoyable. I haven’t done it.

The bad thing is you smell things again. About a week and half ago I was out eating dinner with a friend. The person at the table next to me needed to bathe. The body odor was strong. Ugh! The price to pay for not smoking.
With all that’s going on in the world with Covid and life in general I’m surprised I’ve done as well as I’ve done so far.
